Bodhisattva Trading Company’s Master-quality^® Tibetan Singing Bowl Sets are custom created from hand forged, authentic antique singing bowls that are unparalleled for tonic accuracy.  The sets you see in this section are sets Shakti has available for purchase.  The sets in the Sold Section below are sets co-created with our customers.  Some took only an afternoon to complete – others took as long as four and a half years! 
 

From the one to two hundred Master-quality^®, antique bowls we bring in every collection, four to eight collections a year, only a small fraction are tuned to our Western tempered scale.  To find the material to build our sets, we go through hundreds and hundreds of bowls and measure the frequency of every single one to find the pitches which correspond to Western frequencies – kind of like looking for needles in the haystack! Then, based on pitch, diameter, volume, and timbre, we co-create sets with our customers according to their desired tonic spread, budget and time frame.

There are many factors which can determine the price of a set, such as the number of bowls, their diameter, thickness, accuracy of pitch, age, rarity, and pitch spread. The price depends on the value of the individual pieces contained in the set, plus a 15% matching fee.  The sets featured in this section range in price from $1,250 to over $4,000. 

Many sets start on Middle C pitch, commonly linked to the Root chakra, and ascend up a diatonic scale to B, the Crown chakra tone.  Sets can be custom assembled for practitioners

of other Sound Healing Schools which require different scales.  Some sets  do not require 7 pieces at all.  Set building is a malleable art.

A deposit of half of the set's projected value is due upon ordering, and payment is required at the time of approval for any pieces you add. Your set is only done when you are 100% satisfied.  Payment is due in full once the set is completed. There is a 14 day return policy on sets with a 25% restocking fee.  All sets come with an array of mallets, a Certificate of Authenticity, and Mp3 digital recording & photo on request.
