Notes about the sound file:
- We recorded this sound bowl while holding it. Playing it on the floor will produce a different harmonic experience, with the mid-tone more prominent than the bass.
- The strike sustains for three minutes upon release of the playing mallet and is audible for two minutes.
- The rim tone sustains for 1:45 upon release of the playing mallet.
- The fundamental tone sustains for three minutes and is audible for two minutes upon release of the playing mallet.
